like the rest of the village, in warm yellow cotswold stone & with its pretty garden, this is a cottage with unique appeal. Adelade has been lovingly updated & furnished
with antiques & lovely paintings.The drawing room has a deep sofa, armchairs and a large open log fire. This is cozy cottage comfort, the perfect atmosphere in which to relax and unwind.
There is an open plan kitchen/dining area with beams and another large fireplace. There are two double bedrooms, one ensuite with television, the other has a private bathroom, both with windows over looking the pretty cottage garden with its fishpond, mature
shrubs and tubs of flowers.
There is an outside seating area and barbecue. the cottage is south-facing,
really light and bright, enjoying the sun throughout the day.
The English breakfast is of essentially organic produce, sourced from the local cotswold farm fayre shop. Dinner is available by arrangement, again ingredients are local, organic and delicious.
Chedworth is less than ten miles from Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton on the Water and in the depths of marvelous walking country. it is a very special cotswold village
with a lovely valley running through its midst. the pretty, historic church and the renowned Roman Villa are well worth a visit.
