Refurbished throughout and with eight luxury ensuite bedrooms and a cottage for 10 in the grounds, The Inn at Fossebridge truly THE location for shortbreaks and holidays in the Cotswolds.
The four acres of grounds to the rear of the inn, include a lake adored by birdlife, a section of the fast flowing River Coln, start point for wonderful walks. And, there's superb cottage that sleeps 10 and attracts family groups, friends, walkers, wedding parties..
The beautiful grounds are often used for weddings and celebratory parties.

Dining in a flag stoned bar by beautiful log fires
Diners either eat in the stone-flagged bar, with its fabulous log fires in the winter, or closeby in a more private dining room, especially for eating away from it all, or a family party, or a business get together. The garden room is perfect for private dining.
So many food ingredients are from local growers and providers...and for those wishing to eat courses featuring dishes from many parts of the world, owner Robert Jenkins makes a weekly "pilgrimage" to London fish and meat markets to succulent products.
Robert and his bar staff also choose wines from both the region and around the world, and these are complemented to excellent real ales, large numbers of which are from the West Country.

A warm welcome awaits you from three friendly Westies when you enter the courtyard of Buttress House, a late 17th century stone Cotswold house nestling in the unspoilt - and largely undiscovered - village of Chedworth. Buttress House offers a quiet, peaceful and superbly comfortable stay and is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside in this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The two guest bedroom suites are situated in one wing of Buttress House, providing peace and privacy. The furnishings are elegant and of a high quality, and fine bed linen, fluffy towels and bathrobes add a touch of luxury. Non-allergenic pillows are available as an alternative to natural down and feather.
“The Barn” comprises a wonderful vaulted sitting room on the ground floor, with a bedroom with king-size bed in the gallery above, together with an en suite bathroom. This self-contained suite has underfloor heating, a comfortable squashy sofa in front of the wood burning stove, with a TV, CD/DVD player, coffee/tea tray - and a grand piano! There is even a selection of music, books and board games to keep you amused. An ideal retreat for winter weekend breaks.
“Sarah’s Room” with en suite bathroom is on the first floor, approached by a private staircase. This is a spacious room overlooking the courtyard, with an emperor-size French bed, beautifully upholstered sofa and chairs, TV and CD/DVD player, and coffee/tea making facilities.
Breakfast is served in the Aga-warmed kitchen, or outdoors in the courtyard on fine mornings. Produce is largely sourced from the wide selection of high-quality local producers, and might include free-range eggs, organic bacon, locally made sausages, pancakes and home made bread. Vegetarian and other dietary options are happily catered for.
There are a wide variety of good restaurants and pubs within easy range, but if you feel lazy there is a very good country pub just 150 yards away.
