Chippenham is one of
Wiltshire's most dynamic market towns with a population of over
40,000. The combination of the old and the new, the historic architectural
gems, modern shopping centres and nearness to some of the country’s
greatest houses and historic villages, makes this town midway between
Bath and Swindon an ideal location for touring and access to the
southern Cotswolds.
A full range of shops can be found in the town including a shopping centre,
together with a leisure centre and cinema. Chippenham is close to Bath, Castle Combe, Bowood House, Lacock and Corsham. The town hosts the yearly Eddie Cochrane festival and others include the annual Beer and Folk festivals.

The farmhouse is a picturesque Grade II Listed building which was built in 1650 and extended in Victorian times. It is said that Charles Dickens was so inspired by this beautiful Wiltshire village that he named his first successful novel, Pickwick Papers, after it.
Pickwick itself is next to the town of Corsham and situated just 15 minutes from the Georgian city of Bath and 10 minutes from the market town of Chippenham.

Biddestone is a charming English village on the southern edge of the Cotswolds

The classical village centre of Cotswold stone houses surround a large green and duck pond. Just off the centre is a beautiful 12th Century Norman Church, and all around the village are local footpaths for those who like a short or a longer walk.Biddestone is surrounded by the market towns of Corsham, Melksham, Bradford on Avon and Malmesbury and only 8 miles from the world famous Regency City of Bath with its wonderful Georgian architecture and ancient Roman baths.
Home Farm is a 17th Century listed farmhouse is set in a large garden leading down to the village centre, providing peace and quiet but with just a stroll to the two pubs both of which serve excellent meals. There are also many good local restaurants to suit all tastes. There is ample safe parking in the front garden area.
Bed and Breakfast is available for one night or a long stay; business clients are also very welcome at Home Farm.
The accommodation consists of a large family room sleeping 4 and another sleeping 3 both with en-suite shower rooms, there is also a double room with a private shower room. All rooms have colour TV radio, hair dryer and complimentary tea and coffee tray.

Set in a quiet corner of a south Cotswold village on the edge of the Badminton estate, The Old Rectory is a warm and comfortable family house.
An architectural puzzle, the facade dates from the 1830’s, whilst parts are of 14th century origin. It is surrounded by twelve acres of garden and paddocks in a picturesque setting by a stream.
The many country houses and gardens within easy reach include Bowood House, Westonbirt Arboretum, Dyreham Park and Stourhead. Bath is 18 miles, Bristol 22 miles and Cheltenham 35 miles. The Old Rectory makes an ideal base from which to explore beautiful countryside or pursue a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
Exit M4 at junction 17. Head north following signs to Malmesbury. Take second left signed to Sherston. Follow winding road and at Sherston turn left towards Luckington. The driveway to The Old Rectory is on left about ¼ mile before Luckington.

is swathed in roses, akebia and solanum, surrounded by its idyllic garden. For the
energetic there is a hard tennis court and there are excellent opportunities for walking
locally. The charming bedrooms are light, airy and very comfortable, with enticing
views over various parts of the garden.
English breakfast, with fresh local free-range eggs and including fresh fruit salad
and home–made bread, jams and marmalade is normally taken in the conservatory
in summer, surrounded by oleanders and plumbago and in the evening guests can relax
in the drawing room in front of a roaring log fire when the evenings are cold.
Dinner
has to be pre-ordered and Sue, who is Cordon Bleu trained also offers tuition for small
groups or on a one to one basis.
