BEST WESTERN The Gables Hotel is set in a delightful rural location in Falfield, offering a great place to stay for those wanting to visit Bristol or explore the beauty of the Cotswolds.
Comfortable and convenient, the hotel is modern in feel, though we believe in good old-fashioned quality when it comes to customer service. As such, you'll find plenty of character throughout and plenty of characters too!
All the hotels bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and come complete with all the facilities that you'd expect. The superior and four poster rooms are particularly spacious, and ideal for those special occasions! With a brasserie, bar and excellent banqueting facilities, were all set to give you the warmest of welcomes whether youre here for a few hours on business or for a few days on holiday.
Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in the friendly, informal atmosphere of an historic country house set in the beautiful South Cotswolds.
Burrows Court offers self-catering accommodation in a fascinating three-storey building consisting of a Georgian-fronted mill-owners house believed to date back to the 13th century. The entire building is now grade II listed and, while offering a high standard of comfort, has lost none of its unique character. The house adjoins the weaving-mill which is occupied by the owners.
The setting of Burrows Court is one of its most attractive features. The garden is surrounded by open countryside with beautiful views of the Cotswold Edge.
Nibley Green, about half a mile from the picturesque village of North Nibley, is a tranquil hamlet despite its historic connections! It was the site in 1470, of the last battle in England between the private armies of Lord Lisle and Lord Berkeley.
Welcome to Oakfield Farm - quiet site only 15 miles
from Bath and Bristol
Our camping field is over 3/4 acre, set in the most private part of the farm with lovely views to the Cotswold Escarpment (only 15 miles from Bath).
We are happy to accommodate tents however our facilities are only basic at present - a portaloo and a washbasin with hot water.
We have our own access directly to the footpath network, which begins along the bank of the Little Avon River and links to The Cotswold Way Trail (1.3 miles).
King Lane which connects Horton Village to Hawkesbury Common is also part of the Avon Cycleway – an 85 mile ride around Bristol and Bath.
When you stay at Oakfield Farm it is easy to forget that the outside world is so accessible. With so many beautiful Cotswold villages and towns only a short ride away, your time with us can be as busy or lazy as you wish.
Please note, this is an adults only certified site.
