Orchard Cottage is situated in a quiet Cotswold hillside village in an area of outstanding natural beauty and lies between Cirencester and Stroud, within easy reach of Tetbury with its antique shops, and Minchinhampton with its National Trust Commons and golf courses and the small country town of Nailsworth.. There are ample opportunities for walking from the cottage itself around the local hills and valleys.

The Old Bedroom (also with a small single room) has a double bed and its own bathroom and shower and is accessed via quaint cottage stairs which are not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The Applestore Bedroom has a double bed and a single bed with an en suite toilet and washbasin and its own bathroom and shower just across the landing. The bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.

Breakfast can be served in the garden if wished.

The quiet village of France Lynch is situated in the beautiful area of hills and wooded valleys between Cirencester and Stroud and is a 25 minute country drive from Cheltenham with its racing, music and literature festivals.

In the near vicinity are opportunities for gliding, horseriding, walking of course, and golf. For nature lovers there is a "site of special scientific interest" a short walk away, with its orchids and butterflies at the right times of year.

The local village pub for food and drink is called the Kings Head. There are many other gastro pubs/restaurants roundabout, e.g. the Old Lodge on Minchinhampton Common, the Crown at Frampton Mansell and the Bell at Sapperton (all about
5 -10mins drive away).
