For those who prefer the ambiance and convenience of a real “English Pub”, or to be a little more homely in a cottage next door, there can be no better place than the Dog Inn and Cottages.
The pub is 500 years old, grade II listed, and retains all the charm and character of its age. A large varied menu is available with ample choice for vegitarians. Fresh fish and local produce are our speciality. We are located close to the M4 corridor (2 miles on the ‘Cotswold Way Walk’, now a National Trail, and 2 miles from Yate Industrial Estates, with excellent links from Yate for rail, bus, and taxi services. We are also only a twenty minute walk to the quaint high street of Chipping Sodbury.

All rooms have comfortable beds, TV and Tea and Coffee making facilities are available. Ensuite rooms are available, as well as ample bathroom facilities for non ensuite accommodation.

Surroundings are picturesque, and we are only ten minutes from Badminton (horse trials), Westonbirt Arboritum, Castle Combe, Dyrham Park, and several golf courses including Players. The Dog Inn makes an ideal base from which to explore the South Cotswolds, Bath and Bristol.
Whatever your reasons for visiting our area, you will find your stay with us comfortable and friendly. Full English breakfast is included in our price, and we will cater for any dietary requirements if requested in advance.
