Uplands House is a family home, built in the 19th century of golden Hornton stone. We are a well established Wolsey Lodge and our visitors are treated as house guests. We usually dine en famille and offer generous hospitality, pretty bedrooms, excellent food and the finest wines.
We go to great lengths to make your visit a memorable one, and hope you will return often. The house is set in a beautiful garden surrounded by the ancient parklands of Uplands Farm and Upton House.
We are close to Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Banbury and Leamington Spa. At Uplands
our guests may enjoy all the peace and tranquility of the lovely Warwickshire countryside, while being close enough to explore the many towns, delightful villages and umpteen places of interests in the Cotswolds. Upton House with its wonderful collections of paintings and porcelain is just a stone's throw away, the National Herb Centre is only two miles, and Shakespeare's Stratford on Avon is but a short drive.
If you don't want to go anywhere, enjoy in the garden, play croquet on the lawn, or sit and watch the many species of birds with a peaceful backdrop of grazing sheep.

Posy and Graeme love to welcome guests to their home, which is a large house on the edge of the village with a beautiful garden and stunning views. Oxbourne House is spacious, full of character and furnished with antiques. The bedrooms are light and fresh, each with its own bathroom. There is a large sitting room in which guests can relax by the fire, with a welcoming cup of tea on arrival, or they can sit on the patio and enjoy the garden and hills beyond. There is a large area for parking in front of the house.
Apart from Stratford-on-Avon (15 mins) and Warwick (20 mins) being nearby, Oxford, Blenheim Castle, and the NEC are all within an hour's drive. Famous gardens and houses of interest, such as Hidcote, Kiftsgate, Snowshill Manor, Coughton Court, Upton House, Chastleton House, Farnborough Hall, Compton Verney, Kenilworth Castle, Charlecote Park, Packwood House, Ragley Hall, The National Herb Centre and the Heritage Motor Centre are all also within easy reach.
For those wishing for a little activity, there is an excellent hard tennis court in the garden or croquet on the lawn. There are also endless local footpaths to walk and you are very welcome to borrow the dog!
Breakfast is in the Dining Room and consists of orange juice, fresh fruit salad/compote, yoghurt and cereals followed by a full, English cooked breakfast. The eggs are free-range, the sausages home-made locally, our bacon comes from a local butcher and there are home-grown tomatoes in season. Posy also makes her own marmalade and jams and there is a large choice of teas and good quality coffee!

Situated close to historic Stratford-Upon-Avon
and the Cotswolds. The pleasure of staying at this delightful
part Tudor manor house is like that of visiting a private home.
It is ideal for a family or a group of 3/5 people. Grade
II listed, the Old Manor stands in over three acres of landscaped
gardens on the edge of the village of Halford midway between
historic Stratford Upon Avon and the beautiful Cotswolds.
The main part of the house was built in the 16th and 17th
centuries. It is partly timbered with the remainder in honey-coloured
Cotswold stone and is owned by William and Jane Pusey. Jane
is a Cordon Bleu cook and if anyone has dietary requirements
she will cater for them.
The manor's gardens slope gently down to the River Stour where
you may fish if you bring your own rods. There is also a hard
tennis court.
The Old Manor House is open all year, has full central heating,
with no smoking in bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with
TV's and hair driers and children of all ages are welcome.
Dinner can be provided by arrangement and there are excellent
local pubs and restaurants.
The house is just 10 minutes by car from Stratford-upon-Avon, a few minutes away from Shipston-on-Stour, 15 minutes from Chipping Campden, and 45 minutes from Cheltenham Racecourse.

The accommodation, for up to four people, has a spacious Living/Dining area with cosy chairs and a folding dining table for four. The modern fully-fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar. The two double bedrooms each have their own ensuite bathroom- with bath, shower and WC.
The whole apartment is at ground floor level.
Both Apartments have separate private entrances, are furnished to a high standard and have individual central heating temperature controls. Both have access to full laundry facilities. The shared extensive grounds have ample garden furniture in secluded corners for relaxing or eating, on sunny days.
