Brook Barn is situated on the outskirts of a small Oxfordshire
village 9 miles from Faringdon, 25 minutes from Oxford, 30
minutes from the Cotswolds and just over an hour from Bath,
Cheltenham and London. The house is a jewel of a hideaway
with its fabulous mix of traditional design, comfort and
unique atmosphere. We have quiet rooms, an office, a games
room and peaceful, simply decorated bedrooms.
The house is set in over an acre of gardens which include
an orchard, wild flower meadow and a beautiful chalk stream,
with benches and chairs thoughtfully positioned for guests
to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Oxfordshire countryside.
For those who want to be more energetic there are various
outdoor activities on offer including a walk along The Ridgeway
which is nearby.
Brook Barn is equipped to the highest standards and is a
perfect respite for business travellers or holiday-makers
alike, with the extra luxuries you would expect to find in
a chic, boutique hotel. In this day and age of ‘credit
crunch’ why not pay the price and enjoy the informality
of a bed and breakfast while still experiencing all the advantages

All rooms are decorated to a high standard
with comfort as a top priority. All three rooms have the
pre-requisite beams that make our rooms deliciously cosy.
Two have French windows leading out onto private terraces
and the Hayloft suite has some that open over the stream,
garden and glorious countryside.
All linen is Egyptian cotton, pressed to give you that wonderful ‘hotel
bed’ feel! We provide you with wonderfully soft towels
and bathrobes that wrap you in total comfort. In each of the
bathrooms you will find those little extras that make a bath
or shower just that little more special.
We have made sure that each of our rooms have plenty of wardrobe
space, a dressing table and a comfortable chair. They all have
flat screen televisions that have either Freeview or Sky. Each
room has tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi, a hairdryer,
CD and DVD players and other small touches to make your stay
perfect.
