Day 1 (Champions Day) – as usual, Tuesday is the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival but is commonly referred to as the Champions day. Day 2 (Ladies Day) – Tuesday will see the staging of the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase that features the two-mile runners then followed by the RSA Insurance Novices’ Chase. Another interesting sprinter to look out for on the Ladies Day is the two times Grand National Winner Tiger Roll who also announced entry for the race! It is important to note that the race is open for any horse that’s 5 years old and above to win. Winners in the previous years include; Master Minded, Altior, Sprinter Sacre, and also Sizing Europe.
Day 3 (Stayers Hurdle) – The third day of the event also known as the Stayer’ Hurdle take place on Thursday 12th of March 2020. Is going to be penultimate day of horse racing and punters will be scrambling to take advantage of the day to place bets that can enable them win big! And here, only horses that are five years or more and have a British Horse Racing Authority (BHA) rating of 130 and above are allowed to enter.
